4.0 out of 5 stars "Classic" indeed!, November 23, 2000

Excluding the videos that feature random footage edited together, this is a good compilation of Queen's music videos. The stand out has to be "I'm Going Slightly Mad". Shot in black & white and featuring the band in all manner of psychosis, they seemed to have loads of fun. Sadly, Freddie was dealing with full blown AIDS at the time but the premise of the video allowed him to don a wig, heavy make-up and loose fitting clothing."These Are the Days of Our Lives" was Freddie's last video shoot and though he looked sickly, his face radiated with a glow and joy that is rarely seen on the most healthy of people. The very last shot was just of him saying "I still love you.." and he exits the frame.David Bowie has become well known for his elaborate music videos and combining him with the originators, Queen, the video for "Under Pressure" would have been fantastic. However, both artists were touring at the time and could not get together for the shoot. We are instead relegated to seeing another "clip" video."The Miracle" took a new road in performance videos as Queen were nowhere to be found. In their places were teenage look-a-likes and they pulled it off well (especially the "young Freddie"!)"Bohemian Rhapsody" has, naturally, clips from the now famous "head banging" scene from "Wayne's World". This was the movie that introduced me to Queen. Thank you Mike Myers!A wonderful collection to say the least.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great music, great video., December 28, 1999

Classic Queen is one of the best greatest hits compilations of all time, and I did not know that a video existed until I came across the video and its supplement, Greatest Hits. Both videos are great, but this is the better one because the music is better, and also because Freddie was looking his best throughout most of it (moustache, etc). This video contains great songs like "A Kind of Magic," "The Show Must Go On," "These Are the Days of Our Lives" (Freddie's last video), all of them are great. One of the great videos in here is the one for "The Miracle," in which four young Queen lookalikes perform Queen stage show to the track, PERFECTLY. Freddie's "double" probably worked at his movements for months, he impersonates him perfectly. Anyway, if you can get your hands on this video, buy it and don't hesitate (especially if you own and like the album), you will not regret it.
