1.0 out of 5 stars Both gloves and the company selling them were disappointing
I have ordered "Opera Length" gloves but received "Above Elbow" instead. I should admit that communicating with the company representative was pleasant: they responded in a properly time manner, apologized, and said that correct gloves would be sent. The pleasant part ends at this point - I never got a replacement... I did not have any choice but to wear the gloves I had;...

1.0 out of 5 stars Both gloves and the company selling them were disappointing, December 16, 2008
I have ordered "Opera Length" gloves but received "Above Elbow" instead. I should admit that communicating with the company representative was pleasant: they responded in a properly time manner, apologized, and said that correct gloves would be sent. The pleasant part ends at this point - I never got a replacement... I did not have any choice but to wear the gloves I had; they were constantly sliding off my elbows creating unwanted "pleads" on my arms and empty pockets at the end of fingers. When you are dressed up the last thing you want to worry about is the need to readjust your outfit repeatedly...

4.0 out of 5 stars Matched perfectly with my ivory dress :), July 26, 2011

They were beautiful, and just as described, the only complaint I have is one of them came with one of the fingers unstitched.. nobody noticed, it wasn't a big problem but still I think it was a flaw. Nevertheless they come in a carton to keep the shape. Well packed and the fabric is sweet :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for Halloween, September 17, 2010

I'm giving 5 stars to this product because it's exactly what I was looking for in an inexpensive glove for a Halloween costume. I purchased the white, and it is a very pretty shimmery. They seem made well enough. I read two other reviews stating they had gotten a size smaller than ordered, so I went for the opera length gloves hoping for above the elbow. I did receive the opera length as stated in the product features, the 'opera length' gloves I received are 22 inches. (I measured from the tip of the middle finger to the back of the glove.) The gloves sit between opera length and above the elbow on my arm though. I do feel like I 'pull them up' my arm frequently. I've never worn gloves of this length but feel that they could 'hold' better at the top. Still, I think they look fantastic and am happy with my purchase.

1.0 out of 5 stars So cheap keep it for Halloween, November 17, 2011

It looks so awful that I just wanted to throw it in the trash...It is cheap enough that you may want to find a use for it in Halloween. Save your money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worked for me, November 11, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These gloves were perfect for me. I needed them for Halloween. I was a bit alarmed when they fit me perfectly because I have TINY hands, probably the smallest hands of any adults I know and smaller than some kids' too. So I found them to be PERFECT but a word of warning: they might be too little.

4.0 out of 5 stars over the top, November 3, 2011

Got this for a dance performance. They looked great and held up well. Actually looked better than I expected. Very eye-catching, but that was color more than anything and they were a closer match to the red dress I wore than I had hoped. Easy to get on and off. Order was filled promptly.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap, October 18, 2011
While these gloves are very inexpensuve, the quality is so cheap it hardly makes them worth the price! I purchased these in black and you can see through the fabric. Have bought costume gloves around the same price previously and never seen such poor quality.

I wish I had known that the manufacturer made these with a sewing machine, instead of a serger. Being stretch knit, a sewing machine is a cheaper and less sturdy way to put them together. Case in point, the first time I put these on, a seam burst (the fabric pulled out of the seam). I am grateful that I own a serger and can go back over the seams and strengthen them, but I can do nothing about the fact that the fabric is snagged.

I guess I got what I paid for, but thought I would have gotten more.
