This is a beautiful book. It is large and colorful with cute pictures of Shirley and many cute outfits. I cant wait to give it to my daughter for Christmas. There are two different Shirley Temple templates you can cut out. One large and one small with dresses for each. I know we will have hours of fun dressing up Shirley.

My wife has always been a Shirley fan since childhood. She never had the paper doll books she always wanted, so I thought she should have some now. She enjoys having them, displaying them along with our other Shirley items.

I had (and loved)this book as a little girl, circa 1995. I bought a copy for nostalgic reasons and am very happy with the purchase. It is exactly as I remember, tho' the eyes that behold it have changed.
As for the product itself, there are 3 dolls, one large (approx. 21"), one small (6"),and one medium (aprox. 10 1/2"). The clothes, as been stated in another review, are casual, everyday clothes of a 1930s child. Honestly, these outfits don't look to my eyes any more extravagant than anything I've seen pictured in Sears catalogues of the same period. However, that didn't bother me one bit, I had months, perhaps another year or two of fun playing with these dolls as a child.

If you're a Shirley collector, the Classic Shirley Temple Paper Dolls in Full Color belongs in your collection. This is a copy of an authentic publication from the hey-day of America's favorite child star.

Yes there are 2 dolls that look just like Shirley Temple age about 6. Yes the dresses are pretty and colorful. Even accurate to her time era & quite possiable out of her own everyday childhood wardrobe If that is what you want great I hope this book makes you very happy.
I admit I was very disappointed that NONE of the dresses or outfits or acceseries are from her movie costumes that's what I'd been expecting and It should really warn in the description not movie costumes If I'd known that I would have passed on it. I hope those of you who got what you wated in this have hours of fun and bonding time. Those of us imagining something else are now fairly aware of what we'd get hopefully knowing that you'll get what it is that'd make you happy.
