Not hypoallergenic
I have a nickel allergy and I purchased this particular chain as it is listed as hypoallergenic. After wearing it for approximately a week I started getting the typical rash I get when my skin is in direct contact with nickel. The quality of the chain itself is decent, but don't purchase this item if you have a nickel allergy. The description needs to be changed to...

I have a nickel allergy and I purchased this particular chain as it is listed as hypoallergenic. After wearing it for approximately a week I started getting the typical rash I get when my skin is in direct contact with nickel. The quality of the chain itself is decent, but don't purchase this item if you have a nickel allergy. The description needs to be changed to correctly reflect its nickel content and the fact that it is not hypoallergenic.

This is a good dog tag chain. Works with actual dog tags. That's why I purchased it. Comes in a nice box and seems strong and sturdy. I am sure it will fit the bill.

I ordered the 30" model. It's a tad longer than I wanted, but you can always cut dog tags shorter. It has a nice shine and hasn't seemed to rust (yet) after wearing it through dozens of showers. It's a standard dog tag chain.To the other reviewer: not sure if this is hypoallergenic or not, seeing as how I'm not allergic to it. Sorry.
