It was similar in operation to conventional slot car sets, but without the slots, or motors in the cars.Film 2-This commercial (apparently from when J.C Pennys was just called "Pennys") is a good look back on the history of toy commercials, the brands aren't mentioned which is something no TV ad would omit today, and the whole "white room" theme seems wonderfully outdated.
