An anthology of older vampire tales, and a well put together one. Certainly quite a few of the better and more ineresting variety to be found here.
This group of stories just about averages 3.50, so pretty well picked from the older crowd. E. Braddon Classic Vampire Stories : The Tomb of Sarah - F. G. Loring Classic Vampire Stories : For the Blood is the Life - F. Marion Crawford Classic Vampire Stories : The Room in the Tower - E. F. Benson Classic Vampire Stories : The Transfer - Algernon Blackwood Classic Vampire Stories : Dracula's Guest - Bram Stoker Classic Vampire Stories : Vampire - Jan Neruda Classic Vampire Stories : Mrs. Amworth - E. F. Benson Classic Vampire Stories : Four Wooden Stakes - Victor Roman Classic Vampire Stories : Authenticated Vampire Story - Franz Hartmann Geez, that vampire chick's pretty hot. 4 out of 5 New being haunting. 3 out of 5 Kill a few relatives, I'll probably still like you. 3 out of 5 Servant sucking. 3 out of 5 Werewolf tomb guards a reasonable plan. Stakes still a problem. 3.5 out of 5 Treasure and a draining woman. 3.5 out of 5 Prefer accomodation without women rising from the grave, please. 4 out of 5 Dead earth man. 3.5 out of 5 Dracula's guest employs some of the creep local folk tales and legends. The significance of a blue flame from the ground, the howling of wolves, that sort of thing. Here, a coachman in a coach drawn by midnight black horses, picks up a traveller. He is growing increasingly freaked out all the time. 4 out of 5 Killer painting. 3 out of 5 Gnat anaemia explanation unlikely. 3.5 out of 5 Be fully armed and hit hard. 4 out of 5 Burning down the house. 3 out of 5 3.5 out of 5 |
