What's not to love? It's the original ViewMaster! Instantly brought back memories from my own childhood. (My mom even saved our slide reels that work great in the new one we bought!). My 2-year-old and 4-year-old both enjoy this toy. Holds their attention for a little while at least! My daughter had an easier time using the pull down handle, but she's more fine motor oriented than my older child. The slide reels themselves are flimsy and bend easily, but this Viewmaster is incredibly tough and takes falls and beatings well.

This ViewMaster viewer is very much the same as the one I had when I was a child. Very durable, and it is easy for young children to use. The price is certainly reasonable, making it easy for everyone to afford. Children will love it, and with a few reels, will be enthralled for hours. You can't go wrong with this item. It is difficult, however, to find a great variety of suitable reels. I recommend the scenic and nature reels, and the wild animal reels.

I bought this because I loved mine when I was young and because I'm rather old-school anti-technology. My almost three-year old LOVES it - and I adore the 3-D pictures... The additional discs shoulds be cheaper, though.

Cheap, made in Mexico, but it works
The labels/packaging is really shoddy, so I would not recommend purchasing as a gift. But it works fine. The reel that comes with it is retro--old, but cool. Read more

VIEW MASTER
Saved all of my children's reels (they are now adults) and gave them to my son-in-law. Needed a ViewMaster, of course. It arrived on time and in pristine condition. Thank you.
