I use this bag for school and it's perfect. The three seperate pouches make it easy to divide all the different books I carry. It also can hold nine different pens/pencils and has a nice pouch for carrying miscelaneous items. If I were to make a change it would be to the shoulder strap. I carry three books and a binder every day and the shoulder strap doesn't have any padding at all. This can be a bit rough on your shoulder. Having said that, the bag looks great and carries what you need to. A great buy.

I must say first off, this bag is very cool looking and the different compartments alone would give this bag 5 stars. There are 2 dividers within the main storage space giving you 3 compartments to hold stuff. Then there is also a small pouch on the front that snaps open to give you yet another pocket and 9 pen/pencil holders.
There is one main drawback that brings the bag down one star. The strap. As a few other reviewers have stated, the strap could definately stand to be wider and even a little longer. However, that is not that big of a problem. I would say the biggest is that the strap and its attachments don't feel or look very sturdy. I would definately recommend that this bag only be used for light or moderate weight hauling. Don't stuff it with heavy books.
That being said, it can still hold lots of stuff, just be careful.
One last bit of info, the bag itself isn't made out of a heavy sturdy canvas. It is very lightweight and flexible (100% cotton). This definately adds to its lack of strength, but it also makes it softer if you prefer or even care about that.
Overall I definately think this bag is worth the purchase.

This is really good if you're looking for a softer messenger bag that's not as stiff as most. Looks great, but I wouldn't recommend getting it if you're planning on carrying a heavy load. The thin shoulder strap won't help with that much.
Those inner compartments are nice for organizing stuff, but I think the best part is that front snap pocket where you can put pencils, pens, and random school junk inside. I love that thing--means less rummaging around for me.

Overall, I'd my money was pretty well spent. Shipping was faster than I expected too.

Nice bag, but you can buy one just like it at your local army surplus store. Don't expect it to be sturdy enough to carry around a laptop, but it's handy for carrying books & stuff. Shoulder strap could use some padding.

This is a great bag. I recieved this bag the other day. The only thing I would change is to be able to make the strap a little longer so it would sit lower on my hip. I would highly recomened it.

This bag did not even last me two weeks. I carried three textbooks and four lightweight notebooks and it fell apart.

I would not recommend this to others unless they plan on carrying very lightweight materials in it.

Very disappointing.

While I loved the style of this bag it didn't last over a month carrying my computer and maybe on textbook. While I have had bags slowly breakdown and have come to expect that from less expensive bags, this bag simply tore where the strap attaches with no real way to mend it.

I've had this bag for a long time and it's still in great shape. I used it all through college and it still serves as my man-purse when I'm out walking around and I have my camera and a book with me. My only complaint is with the strap that it comes with. It's simply too short and too thin. I corrected that problem by buying a longer and wider strap from an army/navy store.

I had an original order with Amazon that got canceled somehow and I called Andrew Christian directly. The customer service rep that I talked to was super friendly and helpful. However, there was some sort of communication problem (due to the fact that the Andrew Christian website doesn't sell the same bags Amazon does) and I received this bag instead of the original one I wanted.

This bag is all right. The fabric is very flimsy and thin. The strap is tiny and short. However, it was fairly cheap and I love the graphic on the front. The separate compartments on the inside are helpful. The snap pocket is the only pocket that closes (really, the only pocket at all).

I have since ordered the other bag and I'm waiting to see which one I like better. I gave only 4 stars because of the mix up. I had my heart set on the other bag, only to receive this one.

Andrew Christian representatives are awesome, and the shipping (direct from them) was extremely fast. I ordered on Monday, got it Wednesday! The shipping through Amazon it over 2 weeks...

I ordered this bag pictured above but what I received was some knockoff and not the bag I ordered. The bag I received has velcro on the flap and not clips. I emailed the company but to no avail they have not responded.
