A classic. Very informative about the history (and techniques) of the great bamboo fly rods, and the personalities of the men who built them. Mr. Keane brings the rodmakers to life and, to me, that's what makes this book special. I don't think Mr. Keane or anyone else could have written a better book on this subject. I just wish it would go back into print.
