This is a beautiful, very classy and well-done CD! The voices are lovely and I was very excited to find a CD of "Classical Music and Lullabies" for children that uses real instruments rather than synthesizers. It is nice having the few instrumental songs along with the voices to complete the album which is over 60 minutes long--gorgeous. This will be our new baby gift.

Susie Tallman's Classical Baby is a WOW!! Who needs 'Baby Mozart" when you have this unique blend of classicals? Susie's perfect vocals are in this cd to soothe and calm at any time.... even the toughest of child temperments. One of my favorites is the Ave Maria. All 4 of my children (ages 5,6,8,9) all calm down when I play this cd. Gather around and just let your ears and mind relax and drift. Thank you, Susie, for creating another classic.

Truly beautiful, truly relaxing this cd brings something new to the classical baby genre: beautiful voices. Classical Baby stands out! I wouldn't be surprised if this cd wins even more awards than all of Susie Tallman's other great releases. My kids and I love listening to this sublime cd!

This is a lovely CD. It would be very nice as a lullaby CD. I sometimes put it on when my four-year old is overactive or overstimulated, and it creates a wonderfully soothing atmosphere. When I began playing it during bathtime, the whole experience became less an exuberant bout of high-octane water play and instead a less-frenetic way to wind down for the day -- even with lots of play. Highly recommended.

Not only are the melodies absolutely beautiful, but each song that is printed in the coverlet has an explanation of the song's origins. So interesting as a parent to read this! My baby enjoys these songs when she's having quiet play or when she is ready to go to sleep. Parents and babies will truly love this CD!

I'm a true music lover and was dreading the walk down kiddy music lane when my daughter was born. I wanted her to hear the classics, but not droned on in the old monotone we grew up with. Susie is energetic and fun. The music doesn't get heavy, obnoxious or tiring even after repetitive listenings. Thank you!

This was our third Susie Tallman CD. The first two we purchased are lighthearted and silly fun. This one is absolutely beautiful and a perfect way to introduce classic, orchestral (vs. electronic) music to children. My 4 year old loves this CD, and we often play it at bedtime because it is so soothing and relaxing. It is also great for relaxing long car rides. Before my daughter learned that the CD artist was "Susie Tallman", she would request "that CD with the beautiful voice like this (and then imitated it)". Unlike some opera, the words are very clear and understandable which (I think) is one of the reasons why my daughter likes it so much. This will be a definite baby shower gift in the future!

I cannot say enough about this CD. I purchased it along with some others to add to my infant's nighttime routine, and I've fallen in love with it! The music is absolutely some of the most beautiful I've ever heard, and I don't normally listen to classical music. This is one of my favorites!!!

I purchased this tape as a baby gift. I was really disappointed to receive it in a cracked case. The cd was mailed out with the crack in it, because there was a note on the packaging. I would not have ordered it from this website had I known it would arrive damaged.
I will think twice before I order fom Amazon.
