5.0 out of 5 stars unique movie and tv music selections, June 26, 2008

This review is from: Classical Chillout (Audio CD)
This cd has interesting selections, some from movies and some from tv commercials. All good, and a few interesting and unexpected ones, like Spiegel im Spiegel, and Peretuum Mobile (my 2 favorites). You won't recognize those names, but you'll realize you heard them somewhere before. Okay, it's now 2011, and this is still one of my favorite cd's. There are several great versions of famous songs, like the theme from Titanic, and Ashkowan Farewell. There are also a few famous opera arias. Great great music!

I now own Classical Chillout and Classical Chillout 2. Each two-CD set contains worthwhile selections, but if you are looking for uncomplicated light classical music variety more in line with the title's theme (chillout), this would be the preferred set to own. It provides good background music while working, driving, etc. and I find myself listening to it without interruption; unlike Chillout 2, which makes me want to pull out my hair during certain song selections.
