5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Compilation, March 4, 2005
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Classical Moods (Audio CD)
We were looking for a good source to introduce our children (4 and 6) to various classical composers and melodies. We had tried one of the Baby Einstein tapes, but all the music was done on synthesizers. This compilation is done with real orchestras.
It has been a great tool in getting the kids familiar with all different types of composers - from Baroque and Classical, to Romantics and someone modern composers.

1.0 out of 5 stars Big mistakes, August 5, 2009
Excuse me but Sabre Dance is not by George Gerswin, Waltz from Maskarade is not by Chopin and Walz from Swan Lake is not by Bach. The first two are by Khachaturian and the last one is by Tchaikovsky. What a joke.

4.0 out of 5 stars Amazon or the CD messed up., March 2, 2009
Well I apologize for not having the CD but I am deciding to report a quick visible error. The song list is messed up, for example it says that Rachmaninov did "Adagio for Strings", but right under that it says that Barber does a song written by Gershwin.
