About the Author

Freydoon Arbabi is Professor Emeritus at Michigan Technological University. He is the author of a textbook, Structural Analysis and Behavior, published by McGraw-Hill in 1990, a number of research reports and some 40 papers published in professional journals. At present he is a consultant in San Francisco. He is also an amateur musician.
