good book, February 23, 2006
This review is from: The Classics of Interest Group Behavior (Paperback)
This is a great book! I love reading the original articles. Reading them brings the subject matter to life, rather than reading what others have said about them. I want to read some of the excerpts from the books in their entirety. I think the author succeeded in whetting my appetite for these classic readings. Although some of the articles are difficult to understand, the chapter introductions really help them make sense. Highly recommended...

Great Primer!, January 8, 2008
This review is from: The Classics of Interest Group Behavior (Paperback)
This book really opened my eyes to a lot of issues interest groups have to deal with. The readings were very eclectic, yet they fit together really well! Anyone who is or will be conducting research on interest groups should own this book.

Pieces of Arguments, February 22, 2006
This review is from: The Classics of Interest Group Behavior (Paperback)
If this book wasn't assigned, I would put it down now. This book has fractions of arguments pulled from other sources and books which make for an inconlusive stance. If you want to read these arguments, get them form their original sources.
