I got this as an e-book for a class and its a pain in the ass to follow along/do homework assignments on it because for some reason Kindles (I have the Fire HD) use location numbers instead of page numbers. I understand the logic behind it since font/size can be altered.. but practically it makes things unnecessarily difficult. I dont see why the page numbers from the book copy cant be applied to the bottom of each page so at least I have an idea of where to be. When our professor says "turn to page 426" I have to look at the location number (usually in the tens of thousands) and do cross multiplication just to find the general place I should begin looking at. Its a real detriment to keeping up. If this is for personal enjoyment, by all means get it.. but if its for a class, id recommend the physical paperback version. Although its huge, its a lot easier to read from and stay on task with.

This book is in great condition and there is not writing or highlights in the book. I love this book for my philosophy class.

I really wish this book had page numbers according to the real book. Yes it's nice not to wast paper, but come on! So frustrating trying to keep up in class.
