THE CLASSROOM AT THE END OF THE HALL,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Classroom At The End Of The Hall (Paperback)
I rate this book 5 stars because It was a very entertaining book. It was really funny but some parts were disgusting. I had a great time reading it and every time it was time up, I wouldn't want to put the book down. Every time my friends would look at me while I was reading you saw me always smiling, laughing, eyes filled with interest, etc. This book i would have to say is one of my favorite books if not the favorite. It was a fantastic book and I encourage any readers interested to read it to. I promise you will enjoy it like i did!

I read several books to my 5th grade reading group before we move into the lesson of the day. They loved this book. They saw themselves in many of the characters in the book. One chapter about a little boy who had trouble reading, sparked hope iin one of my students who has trouble in the same area. I came to Amazon.com hoping that this author wrote some other books - and he did. I can't wait to read the next one. Keep them coming!

A great book full of laughs and comedy. You want to keep seeing what zany situations turn up at the Walter Melon Elementary school. The zany elements make you remember your third grade year and compare it to this book. I liked it because it had a lot of humor, and I could DEFINITELY relat this book to my third grade class.

Douglas Evans should write more books for children. The Classroom at the End of the Hall is a page-turner.

The Classroom at the End of the Hall,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Classroom At The End Of The Hall (Paperback)
The author of this book is Douglas Evans and he makes you feel as if you were in the book. He makes sound effects and thoughts. Evans builds suspense by making you want to read further and further. Once you start reading a chapter you wouldn't want to stop until the next chapter starts.
I think someone else would want to read this book because it's funny. Also because, when you want to put the book down, you just have to know what happens next. Especially when Roger smacks together the erasers and a chalk genie comes out....of course you would want to know what happens next. I would most remember this book because it's funny and has a lot of childish scenes that kids my age would probably do.

You Think Your Classroom Is Weird Read This Book,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Classroom At The End Of The Hall (Paperback)
This book is about many strange kids that go to this classroom at the end of the hall. Many things are weird in it and one thing is Frances is a very tidy girl until it comes to her desk and she gets a desk pest in it! There is also a book a kid finds and it tell what is going to happen to him the next so every day he reads a little.
I liked this book a lot because it is so funny when a girl named Frances gets a desk pest in her desk. The desk pest tells her a lot of answers. This book is also a very interesting because most of the stuff you know wouldn't really happen but it does! This book is a kind of book that makes you not want to stop reading it. I think that this book is one of the best books I have ever read! I think that kids in the 4th grade through 6th grade might like this book.

This was a great read aloud for my fifth grade class. The children related to all the characters and their classroom problems and begged me to keep reading. The Messy-Desk Pest and the Chalk-Dust Geinie were very original.
