Claudia's Big Party......GREAT BOOK!!!!!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Claudia's Big Party (Baby-Sitters Club) (Paperback)
I really liked Claudia's Big Party! The only thing is the party was a LITTLE babyish. It was a great way to bring her friends together though. I have experinced the feeling of being torn apart from two groups of friends that you equeally like so I thought this book was deafnitly realistic. Another thing I liked about this book is that Ann M. Martin finally brought Josh back into the picture. It said in book #113 that they were boyfriend and girlfriend and then you never hear about Josh again! I thought the plot about Shira , Joanna, Jeannie, and Josh were done for and this was a great way to get them back into the series! I also thought when they were going to have a party, Ann would put the tipical plot that is in T.V. Shows and Books all the time: That there parents would come home early. Instead Martin creates a plot where their Aunt and Uncle show up! GOOD JOB! What's going on with Mallory? She's acting really strange. I think her weird behavior that has shown up in this book will appear in another one! #126 The All-New Mallory Pike. Keep your eyes out for it! Other than that cool book! THE BABY-SITTERS' CLUB IS DA BOMB!!!!

Interesting look at siblings,

I liked how Claudia and Janine are real in their struggle to map out places for themselves as sisters. I'm getting to like Janine. The party was interesting, but I would have had a few kids drink. I liked also how both Janine and Claudia took responsiblilty for their mistake. I just knew Claudia was going to fess up about the vase! Also...Mary Anne is one smart girl! Neat idea about "losing" the house key to get her charges to stop fighting.
