About the Author

Adam Blade is in his late twenties, and was born in Kent, England. His parents were both history teachers and amateur artists, and Adam grew up surrounded by his father's paintings of historic English battles - which left a lifelong mark on his imagination. He was also fascinated by the ancient sword and shield that hung in his father's office. Adam's father said they were a Blade family heirloom. Sadly, Adam does not have his own Fire-Dragon or Horse-Man. But he really wishes he did!

My twin 6 year old boys cannot get enough of this series. We were waiting for this book and were not disappointed. We anxiously await the next one!

Adam Blade's Beastquest series was a big hit with my 9 year old son when he didn't particularly like to read. Even now that he likes reading better he still wants to read these, although he finishes them in a day. Adventures with happy endings and not too long = good for elementary school readers.

My nephew is 8 and loved the first couple books so much instead of toy for Christmas all he wanted was this book collection. Then the collection is so great now my son who is 6 wants the collection too.
