This is the best lightweight trim hammer I have ever owned. I have had one for several years & enjoyed the feel of it so much that I just bought one for the Lake House & one for the tool bag in the car.

After watching how these hammers are made on "How Its Made" I have even greater appreciation for the strength and durability of Estwing hammers . I particularly like this little "Gem" for using when the grand kids are around -- you can let them "help" you and not worry about them hurting themselves like I would around a straightclaw hammer .
The method of joining the head to the handle beats everything out there and the finish on the handle really makes a firm grip possible all the time even with sweaty hands or out in the rain .

I gave this hammer as a gift to my wife. She aboslutely loves it! The balance is excellent and you can feel the quality. Sometimes I get tempted to use it for larger jobs since it is well made. But the weight of the head isn't that heavy. So for hanging pictures or driving pin nails, you can't go wrong.

bought this to replace a lost hammer. Got the lighter head. Works great as an all purpose home utility tool.

I use this for a finish hammer. I used to have one just like it the belonged to my father. Lost it on a job and had to replace it.
