Hovind is right on and the real deal, April 15, 2005
This review is from: Claws Jaws and Dinosaurs (Living Dinosaurs) (Mass Market Paperback)
I can't believe what I have read in the previous reviews. Dr. Hovind did NOT get his Doctorate from a degree mill! It is legitimate and he had to do the work for it. Anyone who checks this out for themself will prove me right. The reason people don't like him is because he makes evolution look foolish. Folks who say that evolution is untouchable to honest criticism are dangerously narrow minded and subverted.
To say that one knows everything about every square inch of the earth requires absolute knowledge about it. This is pride, since no one has such absolute knowledge. Most of the people reading this review barely venture out of their own homes, not to mention their State! To blindly trust any scientist or anyone to the point that you take their word for it based on your esteem for them is just that: blind trust!
Check out this book by Dr. Hovind. You kids need another perspective!

Lot's of good information., March 10, 2010
This review is from: Claws Jaws and Dinosaurs (Living Dinosaurs) (Mass Market Paperback)
While much of the information is not new, professor Hovind organizes it very effectively. It is noteworthy that the negative reviews are consistent in two ways: they never answer Hovind's evidence, and they attack his person, as if that would discredit his work. Moreover, I hear plenty of conclusory statements against his work without any rebuttable evidence offered. The fossilized human organs and the unfossilized dinosaur bones (such as the one studied by Mary Schweitzer of the T-Rex bone with fresh blood in it), the enormous amount of ancient artwork around the globe depicting dinosaurs and the recent reports of very reliable sources of living dinosaurs, as well as dragon stories such as Beowulf (clearly describing Grendel as a T-Rex), all attests to the error which is evolution. The attitude evinced by evolutionists is stubborn dogmatism (ironically, the very charge they make against Creationists). We see in our day a remarkable hypocrisy: while the story of Galileo is lauded by evolutionists as evidence of Christian dogmatism (albeit exaggerated to mythic proportions), the very same dogmatism is practiced with a vengence against any professor who dares to espouse Creationism. I'm sure Hovind's IRS troubles was implemented with this strategy in view (speaking rhetorically, will somebody please show me the law that says you need to fill out a 1040 form? Anybody hear of "unconstitutional?"). I'm also sure he didn't receive the benign treatment Charlie Rangel received with regard to his tax controversies .
