5.0 out of 5 stars riddick daggers
I just bought these for my brother, they arived on time. They are quite nice, yes the handle could be a little longer, but for the price they are very decent.

Although these are among the better quality (relatively speaking) of the Riddick Saber Claws available, they are quite small. They cannot be held comfortably in the hand. However they still, as they should, make a good "wall hanger" or desk display.

I have just received the Ulacks and i was a little disappointed. First, the Ulacks (Riddicks Blades) are smaller than expected. The blade is only 9 1/2 Inch and the handle is only 3 3/4 Inches!!! I expected something a little bigger than this, also the black finish comes off VERY VERY EASILY!! I only barely attempted to put a small cut in a piece of wood (just to see how sharp) and the finish nearly all came off from hardly an attempt to cut! So, if your looking for a good cool looking but pointy paper weight than this is perfect, otherwise i don't recommend these. Still nice tho

I had purchased these roughly 7 months ago. Much like it has been said before, the metal is very soft. to give you somewhat of an idea of the quality of the metal is, I thrusted them into a mattress and the tip of one bent downwards. one was longer than the other, they were somewhat crooked, but is fairly unnoticeable, the handles were wrapped on with a very sticky adhesive which loses it's adhesion from movement and body heat. I would suggest discarding the wrapping on the handles and replacing it. they do fit comfortably, they are fun to look at, and can be sharpened. I wouldn't mistakenly head the advice of one of the reviewers whom said that no one would be confrontational when he is holding them. I'm pretty sure anyone who would break in with indications of violence would have a gun. these are more decorational than any sort of defense. knives, as everyone should know, are false senses of security. if you expect to protect your home, I would get a Taurus 9mm or something

These are exactly what they look like and look fantastic on display. They are also very easy to sharpen (although I wouldn't recommend it because once these get sharpened they are very very easy to cut yourself with). My only complaint is that the wrapping on the handle of the blades is held on by a weak industrial glue and will wear off eventually.

I like the knives very cool for the cheap price. :)
Stand was junk and broke right away in places and the screws were to small in others. :(

3.0 out of 5 stars Riddick Claws, August 1, 2008

These are fun just to have, and they sure do look intimidating, but they are fairly worthless for anything real. The display came broken in the box, and the metal is dull and chipped, and a bit too thick to sharpen with anything, and do a good job. The handle is too small for my medium sized hand, and the grip is cheap leather. The made in China also stands out a bit more than one would hope. They might not stand up to anything very well, should you ever have to use them, but they look cool mounted on a wall.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wicked, February 2, 2008
This review is from: Claws of Riddick Dagger Knife Chronicles of Riddick St (Misc.)
I must admit, these are my favorite of all my weapons. I'm not a screaming fan over the Riddick movies, but I still had to get these when I saw them. They come dull. Very dull, actually, but I prefer them that way. Because of the form of these, it would be very easy to accidentally hurt oneself (especially with the points being pointed up on the display). The metal is a good thickness; they're very sturdy. The black can chip if you're not careful.
The fabric of the handle is laughable if you look too close (it looks like badly imitated dragon skin), but still looks wicked even at casual inspection. The handles are the perfect size for the average male hand, and the cord/curves give them a good grip. Good buy, especially for the price.
I can not emphasize enough, however, that they're DISPLAY weapons. Yes, they probably would hold up to a wooden stick, but with the ridiculously impractical design of these you're as likely to stab yourself as you are the wood.

5.0 out of 5 stars Riddick's Saber Claws, December 20, 2007

These knives are reproductions from the movie "The Chronicles of Riddick". When I recieved these, and I was impressed. They seem to be very true to detail. Let me say this, they are sharp, but the edge's are also coated with paint. They look real good, and they work great with the stand that they come with. All in all, they make a very nice display, and they feel good in your hands.
