I got my jar in the mail and it was more than i expected. The size in the picture doesn't compare to what you get, this jar is on the large size but I love it because it matches my decor great. It also looks great on my counter top. I would recommend this to those who has this type of decor

This is the coolest cookie jar I've ever seen. The art, paint and green stem on the lid are so realistic? There is more space for cookies than it looks. It is a great conversation piece sitting on your cupboard top.

I like this cookie jar because it matches the decor in my kitchen, but I also like it because it hold a lot of cookies and it's easy access. (the lid is on a slant as opposed to right on the top.) It's also a little bit unique in that its a hot pepper..I have only seen jars in green bell peppers. I am happy that I purchased this.

This chili pepper cookie jar turned out to be bigger than I anticipated. I couldn't find the description any longer on the Amazon site but I found another description on a different site which said the chili pepper was 12-1/2" x 7"...but the 7" is wide not tall, a little deceiving. I would say it is 8-1/2" tall. It didn't fit above the cabinets in the niche I had for it. But it looks fabulous I will find a place for it. It is a great piece of art. I bought it as art. I love the colors....you can't see too much of the yellow, it would be nice to display it sideways a little so you get a better look at the colors. The one drawback is there is no plastic or rubber seal around the lid to help it stay in place, protect from breakage or keep cookies fresh.

I use it for canisters, and odds and ends. I have a Mexican style house and it is really cool!
