5.0 out of 5 stars Best astringent I have ever used!
My complexion has been clearer in the couple of years I have used Clean & Clear than it has ever been before with any other astringent. This sensitive skin version works great and doesn't irritate my face at all, even in our cold, dry high-altitude winters. Clean & Clear for Sensitive Skin is impossible to buy in the rural mountain town where I live, so I am very happy to...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good Stuff, *BUT* why is there Blue Dye #1????
I've liked the Clean&Clear product for years now, but recently have been trying to find the products they used to make without coloring added. I had ordered this one forgetting to check the ingredients list, only to find when I got it that it was not the bottle that was blue but the astringent itself was dyed. 3.0 out of 5 stars Good Stuff, *BUT* why is there Blue Dye #1????, August 20, 2011
This review is from: Clean & Clear Deep Cleaning Astringent for Sensitive Skin 8 fl oz (240 ml) (Health and Beauty)
I've liked the Clean&Clear product for years now, but recently have been trying to find the products they used to make without coloring added. I had ordered this one forgetting to check the ingredients list, only to find when I got it that it was not the bottle that was blue but the astringent itself was dyed. If I want to clean -my face-, I don't want to be -adding- blue dye to it. Clean&Clear needs to get their act together and better represent what their brand should stand for. Maybe if enough people click "yes" to this review being helpful, J&J will start to get the message. Clear means Clear, not blue dye #1.

1.0 out of 5 stars NOT for sensitive skin, January 28, 2012

This brought my skin out into a blotchy rash. I have sensitive skin but not ultra sensitive usually. Would not recommend.

4.0 out of 5 stars Effective!, December 1, 2011

I've been using this for a long time. I'm a 30 year old woman and I use this in my routine. I use a gentle cleanser and then follow up with this astringent. I put some on a cotton pad and rub my face with it. Sometimes, when I'm too gentle, I won't see anything on the cotton pad. But when I apply pressure and rub upwards on face, I can see the contaminants on the cotton pad afterwards. So, it works! It does clean your face and cleans whatever is left on your face from washing your face. But afterwards, be sure to follow up with moisturizer. If you don't use moisturizer, your face will stay stripped of natural oils and then your face may overproduce oil which may clog up your pores.

Here's to our quest for nice skin!
