In my late 30's I was breaking out worse than I ever did in my teens. It was particularly bad after shaving, even though I use an electric razor. My dermotologist recommended that I always wash my face with this before I shave, and it has worked wonders. Apparently the anti-bacterial component helps the breakouts because it kills bacteria that your razor would otherwise shove into your pores.

I have found that it does dry my skin somewhat, but I usually apply an oil-free moisturizer after shaving (from acne.org) and my skin stays perfect all day long.

I highly recommend this product.

This is a good value cleanser. The pump was hard to push at the first time of use, but it works well after that. I only pumped it half way to get small amount of cleanser into my wet palm and the volume is more than enough for me to use! It forms quickly and smells very nice without too much perfume. After rinse, I can see my face is glowing. My skin type is normal to oily with T-zone. However, I am turning 45, and my skin gets dried faster than ever every time after I wash my face. It should be no problem as I quickly apply some moisturizer right after face washing. I still like to feel "clean & clear"!!

This cleanser producing quite a bit of foam when used properly and leaving your face feeling clean. It doesn't feel terribly drying like the Neutrogena Wave pads, but it is always best to follow up with a moisturizer. The listing offered here is for a pack of six, but this same product is available by the singles for about $4 at Walmart and similar stores.

I've been using this product for a while now and its pretty good! Although I must say if your face is only dry, then you should not use it. My face is combination and it makes your skin squeaky clean which I like, but sometimes dry out the spots that are not oily. Overall it gets rid of what you want to get rid of and minimizes your acne. Ever since using this product, I dont break out that much anymore.

This is the best quality face wash I have found, and it is a tremendous value! Works fantastic for oily or combination skin. I have used it for years and it has never been irritating. Always rinses away clean. This is a fabulous product.

I don't always use this product for my face because I've got really sensitive skin, and particularly in the winter it can dry out my skin or sting (I do use it more often in the summer). But it turns out it's a really good body wash! It's especially good to use after I've been working out and feel "grimy" and don't want to use soap with any moisturizer. As a body wash it doesn't irritate my skin at all. I would give it 5-stars as a body wash.

I've been using this for about 5 years now along with some of the other C & C products and refuse to switch. When you find something that works as well as this does you don't need anything else, and on top of that the price is just right.

I agree with the first review. This cleanser is inexpensive and works well on my face. My skin is very sensitive, proactiv after several months usage dried my skin really bad, but this cleanser doesn't. It feels great when you use it, buy it, you won't regret :)

I have been using this face cleaner for over 3 months now and really like it! I will continue buying it. I had an ongoing skin problem on my forehead. I had wanted to try natural products and tried an Aubrey Organics all natural face cleaner that cost 4 x what this does and it did not help at all and enlarged my pores! Don't get fooled like I did thinking more expensive or all natural products always work better.
Clean and Clear rid me of my problem completely!!!!
It is readily available at my local walmart and only cost $3 dollars and some change. Definitely worth trying!

I have been using a certain brand of facial cleanser for over 10 years , but it is quite expensive, so I thought I would try this. Oh my gosh--my skin broke out so bad. I figured maybe my skin would have to adjust to it, so I continued it for 2 weeks. I had painful pimples all over my face--I couldn't believe it. I ran out to the store to buy my old brand. Maybe your skin becomes used to one thing after you have been using it for so long. Not sure if it was Clean & Clear or just because I switched to something new, but it was terrible. It took my skin 1 whole week for the break out to top after I switched back to my usual brand.
