Best pads ever. If you are new to piddle pads, you might be surprised they are so thin, but they are absorbent. The backing is light, near white, as opposed to hospital blue. The pads are smooth and remind one of fresh-ironed sheets, as opposed to other brands which may be lumpy. For any new dog owners, please note that any time the dog is confined indoors, he/she needs one or more clean puppy pads at all times. It is cruel to expect a dog to wait for walk time, and might even damage its health over time. Living in a high rise, I have a small sealed container with foot pedal, which I line with a kitchen bag. The used pads are folded up in both directions and put in the container; once per day I throw out the bag. This standard size pad would work well with a dog up to 20 lbs or so. If your dog is larger, you might overlap several pads, or check out the very large absorbent pads available at Drs Foster and Smith. Their large pads are great, but I do not like their standard size pads as well as Clean Go.
