I am glad for the opportunity to review this book. It is a good outlet for the annoyance I feel at being forced to purchase it. The book ($34.95) and its accompanying course ($135.00) is compulsory in order to get licensed (at least in my state). They are both procured through the "Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM"). One may not take the course without purchasing the book, which must be the latest edition and may not be borrowed or copied from someone who has previously taken the test. The editions change frequently. I galls me that the same agency that sets the standards stands to profit from their own requirements. Clean needle technique is important but there is no reason why acupuncture schools cannot incorporate this information into their curriculum (as do nursing schools).

Very well written book, however I have several blank pages. No one seems to be willing to fix the problem. I get a hold of Amazon and they tell me to get a hold of the publisher, I call the publisher and they do not return my calls.

This is required for the CNT course for students of acupuncture. The book has all you need to do great on the exam and to pass the practical portion of the test. The information is up-to-date and relatively easy to read.

Had to get this book for a needleing class. The info is laid out easily and it is a quick read.

This book saved my behind! I needed it ASAP and got it just as fast. There's no way I would have passed my exam without it. Definitely a must have!

the book has been great in preparing both the written and practical exams of clean needle techiques. There is a few typos in the book but not a big deal.
