I'm not a big fan of country music but this song is so well written it really doesn't matter what genre it belongs to. It is about the universal urge fathers have to protect their daughters. It's touching but also funny. In the past I have said the very same things Rodney Adkins talks about in "Cleaning This Gun" and when I heard it for the first time on the radio I laughed out loud for 5 minutes straight. Fathers Day is coming and this track is the perfect present.
