We gave the cleaning trolley to my 4 year old for Christmas. Both she and my 6 year old have been using it almost non-stop for two days now. It was easy to assemble, and it seems like it will be pretty durable in the long run. All of the parts actually work the way they would if they were the real deal (e.g., the vacuum really sucks, the sprayer really sprays). My girls are on a frenzy of cleaning activity. It's nice to see them role playing something useful.
Although I'd recommend this toy, I do have a couple cautions.
1. When you assemble the trolley, it does not snap into place. If you pick it up from the top, the tray will come off. You can easily place it back on. I assume this would make it easy to break down if you wanted to store it.
2. It comes with a bag of little Styrofoam balls. I think these are for throwing on the floor and vacuuming up. However, they stick to everything and fly everywhere. If you don't want a mess, you should probably leave them in the bag and hide it.
3. The spray bottle, sponge, bucket and mop are a tempting fare for little ones who want to clean just like mom or dad. Even though I warned my kids, "pretend toys use pretend water," we had real water cleaning going on in no time. If you don't want the kids mopping the carpet, you might want to keep an eye on them.
Other than those minor issues, I think it's a great toy. I think I'm going to video tape the girls and use it for blackmail when they are 16.

We got this toy for our daughter when she was 4, and she's now 7 and still plays with it. In fact, every child that comes into our home LOVES this toy and always wants to clean for me. Yes, the trolley is a little wobbly, but the kids have figured out how to drag it around without it coming undone. Great for boys and girls from 18 months to 10 years.

I don't normally take the time to write reviews but when I saw all the positive reviews on here I had to chime in because I don't want other parents/children to suffer. Bought this for my daughter for Christmas last year. She LOVED it. Unfortunately it is cheaply made, fell apart every time she used it which caused endless frustration, and so we eventually threw it in the garbage. She has been asking for it ever since and gets very sad every time I tell her we had to throw it away. So while she was happy for 5 minutes upon opening it I have been paying for that with her sadness ever since. Don't buy this - you'll regret it. Also please note that my daughter was 5 when she recieved it as a gift - so the problem wasn't that she was too young for it. The problem is that it is flimsy and poorly constructed. I have yet to find one that isn't but my search continues.

Definitely not worth $50
Base on the picture and some reviews, this toy seemed good. However, I'm very dissatisfied with the quality, it's cheap and falls apart easily. Definetly not worth $50, maybe $25. Read more

My twin boy and girl 5 year olds LOVED it - only bad thing was we had to crazy glue the handle on to the duster as it kept falling off. Great item.

I thought it would be sturdier

Not worth the money
I love this toy however it is deffinitely NOT worth 40.00. I bought one of these about 8 years ago at our base post exchange and paid $20 for it.

Easy fix for coming apart
All you have to do to stop the coming apart, is get velcro tape, still comes apart when needed too, but not when the children are playing with it. Read more

House cleaning
