The cloth I got was not gray. It is a blueish cloth with a shine to it. It is quite a bit lighter than my grey card so it will probably be too far off to want to meter against it.

I think I will return it. The item is 4.75" x 6" and blue. The package has a sticker on it describing it as 8"x8" and gray.

If you are looking for a gray card don't get this item. If you are looking for a lens cloth this may do for you.

This is a good accessory because of it's dual use, but the fact that it is checkered and a little shiny can cause it to give you improper meter readings in certain light. I still use it more than the gray card due to the ease of portability and the dual use.

Recommended.

Since I've been carrying this handy dandy little cloth around on photo shoots, my exposures have been MUCH better than they used to be. The great thing about carrying this over a gray card is that this can be tucked into any pocket, always easily gotten to. AND, you can put it anywhere on any surface to meter prior to shooting.

And, as always, you canNOT go wrong with Adorama!!

It takes on double duty....microfiber lens cloth for your lenses, and an 18% grey card for getting just the right white balance.

Great Product! Not only it arrived before the estimated delivery date, but it really works as a grey card and a cleaning cloth.
I strongly suggest that you get this product or whatever other gray card you will, because it REALLY makes a difference on your shoots! also helps speed up the process when your post-processing.

I ordered this because I needed an 18% gray card, and I thought it would be cool if i could use it as a cleaning cloth too. However, they sent me a bright blue cleaning cloth, which is NOT at all what I ordered. They are trying to sell this as something that it is not. I would not buy this product if you are looking for a gray card.
