Nice Bags but They're NOT Clear!,

The title says it all. These bags are white, not clear. They are somewhat translucent, like a plastic milk jug. You can see what's inside -- sort of -- by pressing the plastic up against the items. I bought them for clothes storage thinking I could just look at the bag and see what all is inside -- not possible with these bags. I almost sent them back, but I had looked all over Cincinnati and only found solid black ones. I guess I'll make do with these, but they are not clear plastic by any stretch of the imagination.

Caution before you buy!,

To be fair, I haven't bought this particular model bag, but just wanted to be a "good neighbor" of sorts and caution you that my experience with other plastic bag products by Ruffies (parent company Berry Plastics Corporation) especially their kitchen sandwich bags are terrible and a waste of time and money.Unabashedly cheaply made. Several times I picked up the bags and bottom just breaks out from under. I've found numerous bags too with bottom being broken already, like they were sealed with a cheap shrink rap machine. The last straw for me was when I cut up a bunch chicken breast that I wanted to save for a salad later and on carrying it to the fridge, BAM chicken all over the floor, and happy dog. It happened with sandwiches too and before that, veggies all over the floor. Unless something changes avoid the kitchen baggie variety and take cause buying these. Would be great to hear from someone on their strength as I know nobody wants the trash they just pick up all over the floor again! Especially contractors, as I used to be one.

The bags served the purpose for which they were purchased and we received them in the scheduled time frame. It made the job much easier.
