The idea of a crystal clear protective case sounds pretty good. However, this item is not worth a dollar. It's a pain to put on and it's not a perfect fit. There's movement and sliding with the DSi in the case, which will eventually lead to wearing. I had to heat one of the hinges and bend it to form because it stuck out further than the rest of the case. Also, this case just isn't comfortable. It has sharp edges all around and it literally feels like it's cutting into your hands while you hold it. I play a lot so this is a big issue for me. And if you make the mistake of purchasing this then you're going to have a lot of trouble getting it off of your DSi. It took me almost ten minutes (I was trying to be careful) and the case ended up scratching my DSi. I highly recommend you don't purchase this.

I bought this back in October because I needed a case for my DSi and the price was right. However, not only did the several chipped edges concern me, in just over a month the hinge broke off. I decided to take the cover off, and discovered the only way to get it off without scratching the DSi at the same time was to further destroy the case. In the end, something meant to protect my DSi broke and almost caused the scratches it's meant to prevent.

I ordered it from eforcity and got it shipped to me in around a week, and it fits my dsi perfectly. I highly recommend it for the price.

This clear case has saved our daughter's DSi on a number of occasions. She has dropped is on our tiles so many times and the DSi still survives. Well worth the very small investment.
