This was inexpensive compared to the cost I have found in stores. I was afraid it wouldn't work. I bought two, one for myself and one for my partner. At first, my partner wanted to keep his old one, which had just some separate soft plastic sheet to cover the screen, but within a few days I saw that he switched to this cover. I liked it from the start. It is light, thin and seems to protect the nano very well. It does make it a little harder to reach the lock button but not very hard. One just has to concentrate on doing it.

I know it's a cheap case, but it has worked splendidly. It was easy to get on to my iPod, and it doesn't interfere with any of the Pod's functions. I figure if I drop it and the case cracks, I'll happily pay another $3 to get another and know my iPod is safe. Great bargain, and working well so far!!!

If you need a a sort of hard case to protect your Nano this will work for you. Fits snugly and keeps all the scratches away, however note it is a hard plastic and I will imagine may crack, but if your nano is being subjected to that much pressuer anyway, it may crack, so better the case first as a warning. Overall satisfied.

I've had this case for about a year now. Although the low price threw me off at first, I figured it was a small risk. I'm glad I decided to buy; this product has far surpassed my expectation. If you plan to put this case on and leave it, it does its job flawlessly. I would guess that frequently putting it on and taking it off may wear down the closing mechanism and loosen the case. At this rate, I expect the Ipod will fail before the case.

At $2.90, shouldn't complain except it wasted both time and money. It broke after only a few uses (the tabs break very easily and don't line up). Plus the window does not line up with the Nano wheel. Worthless product. I threw it away after a week.

I wanted a protective case that didn't put a barrier between the wheel control and my thumb. I also wanted a case that did not prevent radio transmitters from being used, as some cases have plastic dimples at the bottom that prevent things from being plugged into the dock connector securely.

This case does both of the above, but there are two issues with the case. One is, there are unnecessary lines all around the plastic case. It's more noticeable when the ipod nano is not in the shell, but it's a shame since one reason one buys the ipod nano is because it looks so good. Two, the case can be quite difficult to take off if you have very short fingernails. It took me a few days to find a spot where I could apply pressure to take the case off. The fit of the case is very snug.

The protect does what is says (iPod Nano Clear Crystal Transparent Case Package for Apple 4th Generation) but you may not want to toss out any cases you have until you use this one for a few days.

Clear and protective. I actually put a skin under it. The back fit but that kept the front from staying on. I just cut the front of the skin off. I like that it covers the screen too. It doesn't come off if you drop it.

This case could be great if it was not made so cheaply. It's tabs to hold it together broke while I carefully was trying to snap it together. It is small clear and protects the screen if you are willing to glue it together!

First looking at the picture of this product, it shows that the Ipod is not exactly lined up with the plastic fitting case. Since I got this hard plastic case for $4.61 I figured I would give it a try.

It is for a 4th Generation Ipod Nano ONLY!!

The plastic case covers the whole body including the screen portion, except on the bottom portion where the plugs would fit into as well as on the top where the hold button is, those are left open. If you have a fat finger, you may have trouble reaching the hold button when this case is on your ipod.
