I actually read this book over 10 years ago, but what I learned from it is still with me today. I highly recommend it to anyone who is struggling with trying to figure out who they are and how to deal with life. It contains 9 Facts of Life that to this day I still remember and use as tools to help me deal with life. Excellent book!!!! I originally borrowed a copy from the library, but now am ready to read again/get my own copy to keep!

I stumbled across this book in the library. I'm still in the process of reading it, about 1/2 way through, and already I'm so excited by what I'm discovering! I need a copy for myself - I already know that I'll refer to it again and again - it's so motivating, inspirational - I want to share this discovery with all of the women in my life who may be struggling with finding their self-definition, self-worth, self-confidence, self-comfort. Truly worth the read!

Dr. Friedman shares her gift of knowledge and life experiences through stories and exercises with women who want to learn how to have self respect, self worth and a high self esteem and create a life of fulfillment. This book is truly an inspiration for women of all ages.
