What I really liked about this book is its accessibility. It's not pretentious and doesn't make any magical claims. It lays out how beneficial a raw diet is and aligns it with deepening your Yoga practice. It's a quick read and I found it hard to put down because it seemed to flow pretty well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to hear an intelligent opinion between nutrition and Yoga without getting too mystical or ethereal. A very necessary and practical book for every Yoga student. Well enjoyed.

I'm so happy and elated for Fred! He was (and is) the owner of Yogashala in Miami Beach, where I was fortunate enough to study under his expert guidance when I was training to become a yoga instructor. In a world where so many people talk the talk but never actually "walk" it, Fred truly walks and lives by what he preaches. He gave me honest, heartfelt advice not only on my yoga practice, but also on living a most healthy lifestyle based on raw food. Fred is certain to become the world's most authentic holistic yoga guru who's destined to enlighten us with his hard earned knowledge and expertise. This book is a must read for anyone who wants to know about the benefits of a raw food diet and yoga.

I enjoyed this book very much. It was easy to read and every point that Fred makes about yoga and the raw food diet makes perfect sense. If there was one thing that I got out of this book is that it completely opened my eyes about how bad we treat ourselves by eating processed foods and animal products. I like the illustrated yoga poses to help guide me in my daily yoga routines. There is also raw food diet recipies in the back of the book to help us merge into a healthy nutrition lifestyle.
