You get what you pay for

The flexible hose does the job it was intended to do well; removes large quantity's of dust. The main problem is the poor quality of construction. The wire comes out of the plastic after a short time where there is a bend in the tubing at the exit or entrance to a power tool or dust collector. Once the wire pops out the plastic hose then tears producing a hole and a collapsing of the hose at that point. The only solution being to cut off the bad part and reconnect; this of course reduces the length of the hose after every failure. The only way to prevent it from happening is to not allow any curves of 45 deg or more to get in the hose. Well good luck with that unless hang it from the ceiling by wire. This failure occurs often enough to look for a hose elsewhere as this Chinese piece of junk doesn't cut it. To further add to this review: This hose is Garbage as the metal wire continues to pop out and without the wire holding it together the hose collapses. Don't waste your money on this loser! Rockler backs there products and said that there was a defective batch and they sent me a replacement free of charge; so far so good.
