This review is from: Clear-Lite 106544 ECO 20-Watt (75-Watt Equivalent) Natural Soft CFL Bulb, 1 Pack, White (Tools & Home Improvement)
I originally rated the 100W equivalent bulb by clear-lite a 5 star, and I stick by that. But 2 things, first is the 100W equivalent actually puts out a lot of light, actually equivalent to a 100W bulb, good for me but if I just want a regular light than I'd go with the 20W, 75W equivalent bulb.

Second, my lampshade is open at the top, as is recommended for CFL bulbs like this, and the 100W equivalent bulb is a little bigger than the 75 one and actually sticks out the top of my lampshade a little bit. That wasn't a problem for me because my lamp was slightly higher than my head, so I didn't see it. But I put one in a second light which was lower, and I could see the top of the bulb itself for the 23W (100W equivalent) one, but not with the 20W one. The 20W one is bright enough for me, so this one is what I'll be using for all the lights I replace. And I like the light this bulb emits, more of a home-like feel than other cfl bulbs I tried that are like storageroom or bathroom lights.

I still like all the clear-lite bulbs, in general, because they are lower mercury and use amalgam, an inert form of mercury like the stuff they use in tooth fillings (I like that in case I break one of these bulbs in my house), and lead-free solders and other components that are good for the environment.
