I love these bulbs because they offer the full spectrum light which is a big plus when you're couped up in New England during the winter. The light simulates the spectrum of sunlight. They also have a very good intensity which is better than most.

Nice light bulb, very bright! If you have not experienced natural full spectrum light bulbs before, the difference is remarkable.

I use this bulb at work to give light to my 25 year old Chinese Elm bonsai. It works great. I've got it on a timer to turn on at night for 12 hours and turn off in the morning. My tree is lush with life. If you do use this for a plant, make sure it doesn't get too close, it will burn leaves.

These are the best ever of the full spectrum lights. The other lights of the new variety that are supposed to save money and use less electricity were poor by comparison. sue

I bought an Eco Clear-Lite full-specturm bulb as a trial for reading, choosing it over a customary CFL. The bulb ceased operating after two months. The light was fine until failure -- good full-spectrum light. The lamp was turned on once per day, turned off after a couple of hours. So after about 60 2-hour cycles, the Eco Clear-Lite full-spectrum bulb would no longer illuminate. I tried it in other lamps -- no joy. I replaced it with another CFL from Sam's Club -- no problem. I'd have to say that my experience with Eco Clear-Lite bulbs is a negative branding experience, and I will avoid these bulbs in the future as overpriced and underengineered, selling a good feature with poor implementation.

I bought a 2 pack on the cheap, but one of them stopped working after being in a fixture for about a day of use. They get hot and need to be in a fixture that allows them to stay cool.

The light from these bulbs is BLUE. Not at all full spectrum, not even close to daylight. I am returning them.

I tried emailing ClearLite at two different email addresses but the emails didn't go through, they were "rejected by the recipient domain." So I called the toll free phone number, and was met with the sound of a modem (or is that what a fax sounds like when calling a fax number?). In any case, there isn't a way to communicate with ClearLite.

The emails I tried contacting were provided on the ClearLite website. I wanted to find out the CRI value of the bulbs, information not available on their site.

I'll not drop the star rating on the product just for this inability to contact the company, since I haven't purchased this bulb as yet. But, without being able to contact the company, I wouldn't expect to be able to make use of any warranty on the bulbs, if there is one. Don't see warranty info on Amazon or the ClearLite website.

Nice light output, still working after over a year, plus this bulb is eco friendly and doesn't have as much dangerous mercury as other bulbs..

I initially loved this bulb. I was looking for something that simulated daylight so that I wouldn't get sleepy reading at my desk studying. The light seemed perfect. But after a month's use, it suddenly went out. I started to unscrew the bulb and it broke in my hands and all over the floor. After it broke, the coiled part expanded and I couldn't get it out of my lamp! I had to throw everything away and even cut myself - TWICE - in the cleanup process.
