After years of having to change the tablecloth much too frequently I decided to try a plastic tablecloth cover. After weeks of research I found that most were either too expensive or, if reasonably priced, looked like the bags dry cleaning is covered in. I saw these and thought I would give them a try. I couldn't be more happy with the quality, they have a decent weight and lay very nicely on the table. They clean up wonderfully - definitely a good choice.

My mom recently hand-sewed me a table cloth to match my dining room chairs. I didn't want to have to take if off every time we ate, but I also didn't want to wash it too often. This is the perfect solution. The plastic cover is fairly thick and sturdy, but allows the tablecloth beneath to be seen quite well. It's easy to wipe clean with a wet cloth and hangs nicely. Plus, it is easy to cut if the size isn't quite right.

I did have two small issues with the plastic tablecloth. First, the manufacturer ships it folded and I can't just iron out the creases! It would have been better if it were rolled. Second, the tablecoth has a sewn white seem along the edge (not seen in the picture). This won't bother most customers, but I want my tablecloth to be noticeable, not the plastic cover. However, this was an easy fix. I just took the seem off at the same time I cut it to size.

Overall, a good value for the price even with the added cost of shipping. I only wish Amazon stocked them so it was eligible for Prime.

This clear tablecloth has worked out perfectly for protecting our cloth tablecloth when our toddler eats at the table. The thickness is just right; it's thin enough to drape over the edges of the table well and thick enough to protect the table from the cats' claws when they jump on it. It wipes clean easily, also sparing me from scrubbing food of the table surface when I used placemats. I only aired it out overnight to "gas off". It was fine the next day. The tablecloth does show the fold lines and it's a bit shiny. Those aren't issues for my purposes.

Good quality plastic; will last a very long time; does the job. But don't expect the fold lines to go away, they never will, even when you set something quite warm on them. So, every thing you put this over will have a pattern of squares forever. THE PICTURE DOESN'T SHOW THIS. If you want smooth, you'll need to buy plastic on a roll.

The clear plastic tablecloth is exactly what we needed to protect our new table from mishaps with our 2 year old grandson and show off the beauty of the wood at the same time. The price was reasonable too!!

We bought this because we have 2 year old and infant. Yeah, kids are messy. The cover is very durable, thick and holds its shape We use it everyday and clean it over and over - looks great. We keep a nice tablecloth underneath. After about a year the cover does wears out, discolor and show marks, but its worth the money to invest.

Is is what I wanted. The gauge of the plastic is excellent for the price paid. I am very happy with this purchase.

We have 3 small children and needless to say were washing our tablecloths pretty frequently. We tried out this clear plastic cover and like it very much. It is heavy enough to keep the tablecloth from easily sliding on the table. We were afraid that the cover might look a little tacky but it is not bad and is easy to clean. This is nice protection for my tablecloths at a good price.

I am very pleased with this tablecloth. It is sturdy and protects my cloth tablecloth from spills and stains while still allowing the print colors to show through. Just be careful to protect it from hot plates!
