This is the first holder that I've had that holds everything from a piece of paper to the thickest cookbook I have without falling over. Yet it folds up quite flat to be put away easily. This all means that I actually use it - a lot. Now if only I could read fine print from across the room!

I have had this cookbook holder for several years. It is very versatile -- accomodating magazines, clippings, large cookbooks, etc. My only complaint is that over time the acrylic has clouded up where I needed to clean it with something other than water (it is, of course, in the "line of fire" when I'm cooking). Perhaps if I'd used a special acrylic cleaner, I could have avoided this.

This cookbook holder is the best yet. The easy fold down acrylic front makes turning the pages a snap plus it protects the pages from splatter and stains. The groves make it easy to accommodate books of all sizes. A wonderful product to own and to gift.

This very nice looking cookbook holder will hold all sizes of cookbooks very securely. It allows you to easily turn the page without having to remove the book from the holder--just drop the front piece of plexi-glass.

This cookbook holder is absolutely the best. It has little rubber feet so the wood is not sitting in whatever water might be on your counter. It is very wide, so your cookbooks are not peeking out the edges and getting their pages dirty. The wood is really beautiful--some sort of cherry with a wonderful luster. I would recommend this to anyone.

This is the best cookbook holder I have ever used, accommodating thick books to thinner magazines. Its hardwood base is well crafted and the fold-down acrylic cover eases page turning.

I had been looking for a holder that would work well to hold and protect a broad range of materials including oversize cookbooks and cooking magazines, and finding this one was worth the wait. It adapts wonderfully well to small and large format media, and the hinged front panel makes it easy to turn pages when the editors goof up and print recipes on recto and verso. Plus it's very attractive...

We have had ours for a couple years now and it truly is a excellent cookbook holder. It is very durable, easy to setup, easy to store, and easy to clean. It will accommodate very large cookbooks as well as a thin magazine. Over the last couple years we purchased about 4 additional ones as gifts for friends and family.

I take this to meals whenever I'm eating by myself. It folds flat so it's easy to put into a knapsack or atache case, and it eliminates the problem of trying to hold a book in one hand while wielding a fork or other gastronomical weaponry with the other. Almost every time I use it someone will ask where I got it. The plastic does scratch over time, but it's easy enough to replace.
