These EXACT SAME LIGHTS are at TARGET!!!! Room Essentials brand, same type, same length, same number of bulbs, same same same for $12.99 per strand (if still in stock). I mean EXACT SAME. I recognized them in the store the day before these arrived in the mail and I was kind of appalled that I had spent $40+ per strand online with this vendor. I will be returning the ones I ordered here and keeping the ones I got in-store from Target.
As for the three stars... these lights are great! Besides the overpricing, they are a quality product with a beautiful light and plenty of length. However, BE CAREFUL because I broke one of the bulbs while hanging them. I didn't drop the strand hard, but it shattered nonetheless. The bulbs are thin glass. I unscrewed the bulb from its socket easily and the rest of the strand works fine.... although I dont know if its still safe outside when wet... so Ill be using another strand instead... and for $12.99 at TARGET I can afford to get a new strand.
So sorry to this vendor for speaking up about the cheaper price at TARGET. I hope you'll consider dropping the cost.

My wife and I just purchased our new home and we couldn't be more thrilled to start decorating it. One of the things she mentioned as a goal of hers was to bring some light into our backyard. I suggested some powerful LED industrial lights but thankfully she didn't heed my suggestion. Her idea of backyard lighting is soft and gentle, like looking at a morning sunrise or sunset all day long. I wasn't exactly sure how we were going to accomplish that until she purchased this fine set of lights and now, I'm a believer.
Set up and installation was a breeze and we were staring at the wonderfully warm glow of our lights sooner than I imagined possible. After experiencing the majesty of these lights for the better part of a week, I can see why my wife wanted to abstain from LED. Not that there's anything wrong with LED lights, it's just that they have such an artificial feel to them. When you're looking at the all natural beauty of a backyard, you don't want bright white lights radiating over your garden/pool. These lights provide a very genuine and natural glow to them which is something you'll never get from an LED light.
I have to admit, these lights thoroughly surprised me. Looking into my backyard in the evening has never felt so good. Dollar for dollar, these lights offer an excellent value and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This is a great way to add a little bit of natural life to an otherwise dull and mood-less setting. We have a great view of a park from our backyard and these lights only help to accentuate that view further. To all of the men out there that were thinking the same thing as me, sometimes it pays to listen to your wife.
This is a great product at a great price. Do your backyard a favor and give it a nice treat. You'll be happy that you did.... Read more ›

These lights are the perfect product for creating that Italian/Napa Valley feel. They are a bit smaller in size than a traditional 60 watt light bulb, which makes them the perfect fit for decorating inside/outside your home. They also give off an amber light which accentuates their "classiness". Bonus - I had an issue with one of my sets and Harborside responded and solved my issue immediately. Highly recommend this company!

Make sure you follow the directions and remove the glass globes from the string before you hang the lights! They will break if they clang together. Believe me! Other than that they are beautiful in my backyard.

These lights are lousy quality. The first bulb was burned out as soon as I plugged it in and three more burned out after a few hours. I blew a fuse for no reason and getting the old one out was nearly impossible. Then the chord just broke right in half as if it had been cut. Maybe it was cut, so I can't blame them for that. Also, these are very, very delicate - very easy to break a bulb. Shame, because they look pretty.
