Overall, this item does exactly as intended. The plastic is pretty sturdy and it's clear enough that you don't even notice.

I took the belt clip off as I drop my phone in my pocket.

The case stays on the phone. About the only negative is that it can be a pain to get off the phone, but I normally don't need to take it off.
