5.0 out of 5 stars Not the best Dubok... but, still great...
I actually heard Technicolor (the newest Dubok disc...from which Clear Vision is taken) before I heard this single. And my first thought was: Why did they make a single for Clear Vision when it's safe to say that every other song on Technicolor is a much better track? (By the way, Technicolor is AMAZING) Well, I'm happy to see that they're releasing a single for...

1.0 out of 5 stars yawn...
Within seconds of putting this CD in my CD player I was reaching to skip to the next track. Before I knew it I had gone through the entire CD. I've since tried to give it another chance, but it's just terrible. It's bland, emotionless, and monotonous. Even from a technical standpoint it's bad. The drum loops sound like they were lifted from a house sample cd and...

And my first thought was: Why did they make a single for Clear Vision when it's safe to say that every other song on Technicolor is a much better track? (By the way, Technicolor is AMAZING) Well, I'm happy to see that they're releasing a single for Dense. However, after hearing this single... I certainly wouldn't pass it up. Even though it's not the greatest track on Technicolor, it shines as being a very minimal, straight ahead dance track.
Whoever wrote the below review and gave this disc one star should go pick up Technicolor... It's definately one of the best electronic releases of 02'.

5.0 out of 5 stars Can't wait for Technicolor!, June 5, 2002

It makes me sad because band's like Dubok are out there making truly great music and gain little appreciation for it. I picked up this Single upon it's release and I absolutely love it! It's great on my stereo and it's even better on the dance floor. The title track is a well written trance-like ditty that hammers the dancefloor... All the remixes are wonderful, especially the remix of New Mind by Cancel. Too bad I can't find anything else from Cancel. Anyway, I highly recommend this single!

I've since tried to give it another chance, but it's just terrible. It's bland, emotionless, and monotonous. Even from a technical standpoint it's bad. The drum loops sound like they were lifted from a house sample cd and tossed into Acid without any modification. And don't get me started on the out of tune vocals. He just sings one droning note and occasionally wavers up and down around it. And his voice has no life in it. ugh. It's stuff like this that give electronic music such a bad name. Try a little effort in your music next time guys, EFFORT. Tinman has really sunk.
