does the job
I got this phone for my Mom when she was having some memory problems after some medical issues. I wanted a phone that had pictures on it so she could just push a photo to get who she needed. That works great. It was hard getting the volume right for her, but we finally got it so it was not too soft or too loud. The speaker phone is not the best, but the answering...

Amplified phone set
Adjustable volume works great but you always need to select the amplification every time you get a call. If would be great if you could set the volumne level as a default so it was set every time without having to select the amplification.

I got this phone for my Mom when she was having some memory problems after some medical issues. I wanted a phone that had pictures on it so she could just push a photo to get who she needed. That works great. It was hard getting the volume right for her, but we finally got it so it was not too soft or too loud. The speaker phone is not the best, but the answering machine part of it is great. The buttons are each to use. The only thing that would make it better for us would be if it was cordless.
