Very Effective.....And Tinted,
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I ended up buying a tube of the Clearasil tinted cream here for it was surprisingly hard to find in stores locally. Acne ointments, and the attitude of people that use them, have evidently changed since my time of being a teenager. Just about all there was back then was a cream that hid the zits while it worked. The only teenagers that I knew that opted for the vanishing variety were big and tough enough that they didn't have to worry about being teased. A scan of the shelves in several stores here found me not finding a single brand that was flesh tinted. So I came to Amazon to relive the nostalgia of my youth since I found myself breaking out lately due to a new found exercise routine causing a lot of sweating. The bottom line is the Clearasil worked perfectly by getting rid of all the blemishes present in a matter of 3 days. And all the while hiding them effectively like old times. Clearasil is right in declaring their ointment having the largest concentration of benzoyl peroxide without a prescription. I wasn't able to find any others that came close to the 10% in Clearasil. It very well could be that a much milder or not so strong scented formula of acne med could have done the job just as easily on my problem. I wasn't exactly being called pepperoni face. However if you are, and you're not a big tough guy, (or one to just think its not fashionable to expose your zits to your peers while you're treating them) I recommend the Clearasil tinted cream very much. Its fast, very effective, and as noted can be rubbed in to hide the problem until they're gone....

best old standby product,

This is the product to buy for occasional adult acne. I am an adult. I've used this for decades because, after I shave, I will invariably have minor acne on part of my face. I use this product to prevent this. This product has been very difficult to find on local store shelves. I tried at least six retail outlets. I finally found what I thought was this and bought two tubes. It turned out to be "Stayclear". That's a VERY good name for that product. It is awful and has completely different ingredients. So, as a last resort, I thought, hey Amazon has everything else...and immediately found the hard to find product here.

hey, i luv clearasil! i use the cream every night and the cleansing cloths every morning. it really works! yes, it does take a few days but its worth the wait! and as for the person who said it gave her red bumps, maybe you should have checked the ingredients before you used it. you were probably allergic.
