5.0 out of 5 stars Digital is the way to go!
I have used all of the brands of OPK's and this one is without a doubt, the BEST! The other sticks are so hard to read, you are left wondering, "yes, the line is darker?". When you have an LH surge you get a happy face, and all is good!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Never gave me a smiley face, even though I was ovulating!
This is the second Clearblue easy ovulation digital kit I've been trying and I will NEVER buy another one again. I wasted about $66 on these two boxes (7 strips) and what a waste of my money! I thought since these are digital, they would be easy to read and highly accurate, oh boy was I wrong!. The first time I tried it I thought maybe it was a bad batch because I never...

1.0 out of 5 stars Never gave me a smiley face, even though I was ovulating!, July 3, 2010
This review is from: Clearblue Easy Digital Ovulation Test, 7 Count (Packaging May Vary) (Health and Beauty)
The first time I tried it I thought maybe it was a bad batch because I never got a smiley face and I was parallel testing with CVS brand and Answer (both detected my surge and I was also being monitored because I was on Clomid). So I decided to give it a second chance. Again this cycle I have been testing with Answer, the CVS brand and clearblue easy. AGAIN both Answer and CVS brand detected my surge on day 14, but NOT CLEARBLUE EASY!!. It can't be my urine because I used the same urine for all three tests. So my conclusion is clearblue is not accurate. Personally I really like the CVS brand and it is much cheaper. I am also planning to try some of the online brands that are much cheaper than the store brands. My advice is to skip the digital and go with the strips and they are easy to read (in my opinion). If you are not sure if the test line is dark enough, most likely it is not a surge because a surge is obvious and you will know when you see it. Good Luck to all the ladies out there trying to conceive and I hope this helps!

4.0 out of 5 stars Clearblue Easy-Digital Ovulation Test, 7 Test - Review, March 20, 2008
Easy to use and read, no more guessing!
It is a pretty wasteful product though since you cannot reuse the test reader. I think it should be able to be reused so that customers have to only buy more test strips.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love these tests...., February 28, 2008

I love the Clearblue digital ovulation kits!! I had been TTC for 18 months, after 18 cycles I was looking for something new. I have Poly-Cystic Ovaries so I new that these may not work as PCOSer's have issues with false negatives and vice-versa. I was so excited to use these, the cycle I tried them they worked wonderful although I went through 12 of them due to late ovulation on cycle day 18 got my "smiley face" or my "positive" I had my temp dip on cycle day 19 and then my temp spike on cycle day 20...Whooo-hooo, I got my BIG FAT POSITIVE HPT at 9DPO!!! LOVE THESE TEST, hate reading lines so these tests work great for me!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Not 99% accurate for me., January 28, 2008

Elizabeth (Central Florida) - See all my reviews
I did research and thought this was the test for us. I followed directions to the letter. (Testing within 10 minutes each day, etc.)
Did not understand why it never said I was ovulating. I also had the good old fashioned back up calendar counting method, so we still "practiced" :) based on the calendar but I just knew I wouldn't get pregnant since this never gave me a positive result. Imagine my surprise when my period was late so I took a pregnancy test just to end the stress of waiting- much to our surprise I was pregnant!!!! Further research all recommend testing twice a day so ovulation is not missed which must have been what happened. I am thrilled to be writing this 11 weeks pregnant but am rating this low because it never mentioned the possibility of testing twice a day.

1.0 out of 5 stars Never got a smiley face, October 24, 2009
I liked the idea of not having to read the lines to figure out if I was about to ovulate. The product is suppose to give you a smiley face if a LH surge is detected and circle if not. Unfortunately even though I used this product as directed for two months, I never got a smiley face so I decided to purchase First Response Easy-Read One-Step Ovulation Predictor Test, 7-Test Kit. Using the same urine sample, First Response gave me indication that I had a LH surge while Clear Blue still gave me a circle.

Fortunately Target gave me a refund for the second box. If Clear Blue is not working for you, I would suggest trying First Response.

With First Response, it does require reading the lines but it was not difficult to figure out. After using it twice, I was able to get the hang of it. If the line closer to the tip is darker, then a LH surge is detected. I also labeled the sticks with dates using a Sharpie. When I laid the sticks side by side, I was able to see the difference easily.

If you have a Flex Spending Debit Card, ovulation kits are eligible. I tried to use it with Amazon but they were not accepted. However I was able to use it at stores like Target, Wal-Mart, CVS and Walgreens.

5.0 out of 5 stars WORKED ON THE FIRST TRY!!!!, May 4, 2011

This review is from: Clearblue Easy Digital Ovulation Test, 7 Count (Packaging May Vary) (Health and Beauty)
My husband and I had been trying to get pregnant since sept 2010. We tried special websites, tea's, ovulation calanders, prayer almost everything under the sun! I hadn't been pregnant since my son 14years ago and thought it was too late. In April of 2011 I order the clearblue easy ovulation test ... Used it and had a smiley face on April 18th. My husband and I tried that night and I found out on May 3rd I was pregnant!!! First I used clearblue easy pregnancy test which worked equally as well then I went to the doctors and had a blood test also!! I would recommend this to ANY AND EVERY couple who is trying!! Good luck

1.0 out of 5 stars very disappointed., November 15, 2009
This is my second month, using Clearblue Ovulation tests. Both times, I've gotten a blank circle, indicating no LH surge. Although, my First Response have showed positive from the same sample of urine. I thought something was wrong with me until I read others' reviews. I have also had the screen "freeze" with the blank circle, causing me to waste a couple of sticks. This product is extremely expensive. It would be convenient to get a basic yes or no answer, but when it always tells me no, it bothers me. I will defnitely stick with my first response.

5.0 out of 5 stars Why didn't I try these months ago???, September 20, 2009
Ladies! Quit buying the internet cheapies! These smilies are all you need! I was so tired of comparing lines. I was about to give up when I finally just ordered these. Sure they are a little more expensive, but please consider the amount of stress relief you will have when you see that cute little smiley! These are well worth the money, and I will never use another kind again!

5.0 out of 5 stars works great!, September 10, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Love this product. It's sooo much easier to read the digital face rather than comparing lines. Got my positive result and am happy to say I am 10 weeks pregnant! After two miscarriages, I was really looking for something that would help me conceive again quickly, and it certainly did it's job.
