Though I've been a professing Christian for 30 plus years, I have never really gotten the whole Lent thing... that is before a dear friend told me about this book and I ordered it from Amazon Books the same day. Wow!!! the clarity and simplicity brought me home to the real meaning and purpose behind the lenten season. This is a book I will use whenever I need clarity and stillness. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is seeking a simple yet profound approach to understanding and appreciating Lent/. Thank you so much Sarah.Sage in Cali

This is an outstanding book on "clearing out" one's life and soul during Lent--I have used it for several years and recommend it highly for the simplicity and depth of the process and reflections. I hope this author continues to write many more books!
