If you want to know how you can have your book published, this is the book for you. It presents its ideas in plain English and is up to date in its information.
The author's honest and realistic approach to the process is a refreshing change from the many other books on the subject. She doesn't try to make you believe that self-publishing is the only way to go, but rather presents the pros and cons in a balanced fashion making the decision of releasing your book or not, an informed one. What is certain is that the chapter on how to self-edit your manuscript will save you many headaches, a lot of research, and quite a bit of money.

Thanks for the best description of the advantages and disadvantages of print on demand that I have seen. I enjoyed the personal and unbiased account of your experiences. This book and the website have helped me considerably in making decisons about print on demand.

Although accurate in its content for the time it was written, this book is too old to be a help with the variety and complexities of the fast-changing world of Print-on-Demand in 2011.

A no nonsense approach to POD publishing. Highly reccommend it. Read this book before hooking up with a POD company. You'll save yourself alot of aggravation and money.(...).
