Take my advice, I did a lot of research. These slides are the greatest! I use them at my gym (am not fond of falling in the shower). They're clean, easy to wash, slip-resistant, and cool looking. I bought these because I fell in the shower at the gym and did some serious damage to myself. I got some flip flops and they mildewed on me (EWWWW!!!!). I searched and found these slides (they make flip flops too). I love them. NO mildew :)

I don't like thong type sandals, and I am going to college soon where I will be sharing a bathroom with a whole floor of students. I need shower shoes, because lets be honest, college kids aren't the most hygienic. Anyway, I tried these on and they were pretty comfy. They have good grip on the bottom, I am sure I won't slip and fall. They are a lovely shade of turquoise and very reasonably priced.

I needed a slide to wear before and after swimming, something that was water proof, fit snugly and wouldn't slip off until I wanted to TAKE them off and I did not want a thong type shoe. I have to admit that I fell in love with the aqua color first. The bottom of the heel is 'hollow' and the bottom of the upper foot has a "leaf and berry" traction design. The inside sole has a raised dot traction designed to keep the wet foot from slipping around inside the shoe. It also has a small mound for arch support, which also has a raised dot traction. In the months that I have been wearing these shoes to and at the pool where I swim, I have never slipped out of or off of these shoes. I feel safer wearing these slides than thongs.
