Designed with multiple safety features, the Clek Oobr Booster Seat is secure, comfortable, and will accommodate your growing child. Your child will appreciate the reclining seat back, adjustable headrest, and soft-touch arm rests. This seat is built just like the seat in your car, and is made with a sleek design and high-quality performance fabric that's easy to keep clean. It has a magnesium back frame and complete metal sub-structure to better protect your child in a side impact collision, and attaches easily to your vehicle's LATCH system for additional stability.
The Oobr seat features Crypton Super Fabrics* which are resistant to odor and bacteria, and repels moisture for a
quick clean-up. View larger.
This seat's headrest connects to the frame with strong steel posts and has deep side wings to decrease twisting movement in the event of a collision. View larger.
The Clek Oobr Booster Seat is built with multiple structural safety elements that work in tandem to protect your child, including a magnesium back frame that shelters your child's torso. For additional safety, the seat's headrest connects to the frame with strong steel posts and has deep side wings to decrease twisting while providing more head protection in the event of a side-impact collision. An energy-absorbing foam layer covering the entire seat and head area helps absorb forces during a side impact collision.
The Oobr Booster Seat was rated a Best-Bet for three years in a row by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
The rigid LATCH system locks the seat to your vehicle's LATCH anchorage system, ensuring a proper installation each time you use it. This system also helps prevent the seat from becoming a projectile in the event of a collision when the child is not a passenger in the car. (The seat can also be used in vehicles without these anchors.)
This seat conforms to all applicable FMVSS Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards in the United States.
Designed with a free-pivoting seat back, the booster seat can recline up to 12 degrees when attached to the LATCH system--simply slide it forward on the anchors (recline not available if the seat is not attached to a LATCH system). Padded side bolsters on the headrest also make sleeping in the car more comfortable. The headrest is adjustable to accommodate your growing child, and soft armrests offer a handy resting spot for little arms.
The booster seat features sleek lines that mimic the style and quality of your car's own seats. The seat's back can be removed and reattached in a matter of seconds to accommodate children of different ages.
In fullback mode, the seat is appropriate for children over four years old who are between 38 and 57 inches tall and weigh between 33 and 100 pounds.
In backless mode, the seat can be used for children over four years old who are between 40 and 57 inches tall and weigh between 40 and 100 pounds.
For easy maintenance, the Oobr Booster Seat is tailored with Crypton Super Fabrics*, which are resistant to odor and bacteria. The durable material repels moisture--spilled liquid beads on top of the fabric so you can quickly wipe it up, leaving no stains. Plus, the bottom seat cover is removable and machine washable for easy cleaning.
Both you and your child will appreciate the detachable Drink-Thingy cup holder (sold separately) for storing bottles and snacks. For convenience, the dishwasher-safe cup can be placed on either side of the seat.
The optional Clek Strap-Thingy (sold separately) allows you to carry the Oobr in backless mode around your shoulders and fastens easily to the latch connectors. Ideal for the jet-set and urban dwellers, Strap-Thingy allows for hands-free movement during travels in the airport and city.
Clek booster seats are made from high-quality materials sourced entirely from North American suppliers. Every piece of the Oobr Seat can be recycled through the Clek recycling program, so it's kinder on the earth. With a nine-year expiration period, this long-lasting booster seat is ideal for use by multiple children.
The Clek Oobr Booster Seat is backed by a manufacturer's limited one-year warranty.
Clek's approach to creating car seats for children utilizes the same engineering principles, leading manufacturing and design processes, and high-quality materials found in luxury automotive seating. Its commitment to the environment means 100 percent of all products can be recycled through the Clek recycling program. Parents and caregivers will appreciate the award-winning child passenger safety features, as well as the contemporary designs that fit into modern lifestyles.
*Excludes the Drift model. The Drift seat is covered in a strong, antibacterial automotive seat fabric that withstands wear and tear.

We loved the fact that this car seat is so easy to install and very easy to buckle up.
This seat is definitely the most sturdy booster I have looked at and makes the Graco booster (leftover from my first child) feel like a toy.
Reasons why the kid likes it: The kid says - "I just love this booster seat. This seat is so comfortable I could just go right to sleep."
I received this today. I was able to easily put together the car seat and install it into my car(s).
