Cleveland CG15 DSG Wedge

Recently purchased this wedge after hearing about it at a Roger Dunn store but they did not have it in stock. Shipping was very fast and experience was great. I am a 14 handicap on a 130 slope course.

The wedge will spin backwards on any decent shot from 85 yards in. Most of the time it will come to a dead stop so have to aim right at the pin. If you aim short, it will stay short because it does not release easily. The laser scoring on the face seems to become smooth after a couple of rounds but that did not effect the spin at all. Most of the courses I play here in southern California are dry and the lies are pretty tight so opening the face can cause a sculled shot if the ball is not far enough back in the stance. On shots around the green where there is adequate turf the dynamic sole allows for a nice soft flop shot.

In a hard sand bunker the wedge pops out low so have to control the down swing because it is easy to miss hit. In a soft sand bunker it is perfect. I use my Cleveland 58* low bounce CG11 for most of the hard sand bunkers.

Was going to get a 58* also but will stay with my Cleveland CG11 58* low bounce for now. Had a 60* but that was going straight up and I could get the control I wanted.

Product was ordered from Amazon.com on a Friday, with Free Shipping, and arrived at my home on Monday. Excellent service, better than all the big box retailers! Product came wrapped in original plastic on both the club face and grip, indicating it was brand new, as described. I would certainly order from them again.
